I am a recent graduate holding a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Berkeley, where I advanced my knowledge and skills in applying engineering principles to biological and medical problems. I have a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Santa Clara University, where I graduated with honors and received multiple awards for my leadership and academic excellence.I have extensive research experience in bioinformatics, neuroscience, virtual reality, and health psychology, both as a Healthcare Innovation Fellow and a De Novo Fellow at Santa Clara University and as a Health Psychology Research Assistant at Santa Clara University. I have developed and tested innovative methods to measure and modulate neural correlates of pain perception using VR and EEG and integrated data collection and analysis tools. I am also passionate about supporting and building community, as demonstrated by my role as an Assistant Resident Director at Santa Clara University. I managed and mentored 15 students, upheld University policies and standards, and responded to emergency situations. I have also worked as a Community Facilitator in a wellness-centered residence hall, where I collaborated with the Faculty Director to evaluate the efficacy of the wellness programming through statistical analysis of student surveys. I value making connections among biology, engineering, and psychology, as well as among people, places, and experiences. I am motivated by the potential of bioengineering to improve human health and well-being, and by the opportunity to learn from and contribute to diverse and interdisciplinary teams. I am always open to new challenges and opportunities that push me beyond my comfort zone and enhance my neuroplasticity.
