Assistance in Petro FCC unit of refinery in its daily plant operations. Monitoring of process parameters in DCS and pointing out abnormalities for smooth functioning of plant. Various data collection including running status of equipments , process parameters, level of catalyst in hopper etc. its tabulation and analysis.Product and feed sample collection and analysis through LIMS. Catalyst activity analysis. Product and services procurement using SAP. Preparation of MSDS for various chemicals during safety audit.Listing of PSVs and preparation of blind list during shutdown period.Planning and completion of catalyst unloading and loading for propylene unit reactors, their calculations and report making. Shutdown and startup log updation and associated report preparations. Part of commissioning of WGC new extraction line and its further safety checks.

Aware about the safety aspects, refinery overview and product flow in the refinery.Made a sheet for plotting the naphtha flow in the refinery including its mass balance.Preparation of optimisation manuals for different units with the strategies included in each controller, independent & dependent variables, etc.Making of monthly activity report, Advanced process control achievement presentationsusing PowerPoint and Excel.Updation of lab data from LIMS in Aspen IQ for proper bias predictions.Monitoring of APC controllers in Aspen PCWS and other plant parameters through IP21.Assisting in building of controllers in APC through Aspen DMC3 builder, listing of strategies and tabulation of associated variables.Training of actual process with PFDs and P&IDs. Also the working of APC in each unit.Knowledge about various types of valves, pumps, compressors , reactors, different cracking processes including thermal & catalytic. Participation in fire & safety training by HSE department and awareness about various fire extinguishing techniques including HVLRs ,fire alarms, fire hydrants, etc.Actively participated in the shutdown and start-up activities of PFCCU. Supervising of decontamination activities during shutdown and PDP & leak test during startup. Process inspection of reactor, regenerator, air rings, steam rings, cyclones, refractory damage checking , columns including depropanizer ,debutanizer, absorber coalescers,etc. Inspection of all column internals like mela grid & packing in main columns, chimney trays, seal pans, distributors, downcomers, etc. Supervision of reactor stripper arrangement and reactor feed & slurry nozzle fixing referring to GA diagram.

Made SOPs, manuals and articulate for Petro Rabigh project in the company.Analysed PFDs & P&IDs for articulate making.
