Hi there! My name is Shriona, you may call me Shri! I am currently working as a Behavioral Health Specialist II at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I work with a team of other Behavioral Health Specialists, RNs, CNAs, and Occupational Therapist to create a care plan that focuses on tailoring a more therapeutic milieu and home environmental care and treatment plan for children and adolescents experiencing mild to severe mental and behavioral disorders. I bring my expertise in Mental Health First Aid to develop integrated care models that better support these children. In addition to my current role, I am also pursuing an MPH in Leadership in Practice at UNC Chapel Hill. My experiences have strengthened my belief that health equity is achievable through informed advocacy and evidence-based practices.I'm passionate about making a positive impact in the field of mental health and public health, and I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and organizations dedicated to these causes.
