Steve has held several roles as a philanthropy professional, educator, archivist and historian during his career at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). Steve was Director of Corporate Giving, Education and Archives for the Corporate Responsibility Group of NYSE prior to its acquisition by ICE in 2014. He managed the company’s various philanthropic activities and was Assistant Secretary of the NYSE Foundation. The Foundation’s giving was focused on Financial Literacy Education and Entrepreneurship programs. Steve served as the NYSE’s primary liaison to nonprofit organizations and managed all aspects of the grantmaking process.Additionally, Steve directed the NYSE’s educational programs for university students and educators. He directed the annual summer Teachers Workshop which provided immersive training in NYSE operations to educators who teach economics and financial markets.Steve began his career at the NYSE managing the Corporate Archives and History program. He was responsible for the NYSE’s diverse historical resources – an archives of national historical significance documenting the growth of U.S. capital markets since 1792. He developed permanent and temporary exhibitions of archival materials that promoted NYSE heritage and the history of many of its listed companies.
