Operations Manager
CurrentKEY Responsible DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes all major as well routine duties & Responsibilities)o Ensure implementation of SOPs and safety procedures according to the regulator norms at the plant o Collect performance details of the plant on daily basis and ensure operational performance is in accordance with the expected technical parameterso Monitor the power generation (Target Vs Achieved) and provide solutions to mitigate the variance by analyzing the causes for the varianceso Prepare detailed analysis of the plant performance with respect to PLF & Plant availabilityo Provide suggestion to the operation team in case of any operations issues / problems faced at the plant on priority basis o Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance scheduleso Train the operations team in standard operating procedures to be followed at the planto To keep track of spares inventory and monitor the consumption of spareso Analyze the tripping and breakdown report of the plants and suggest remedial actions for the sameo Coordinate with technical consultants / specialists appointed by the company to develop solutions for the key technical issues / problems faced during plant operationso Coordinate with the fuel group team to address issues in terms of quality of coal, quantity of coal etc
