As stated by the UN Secretary General - "The era of global warming has ended, the era of global boiling has arrived." This necessitates the prioritisation of efforts towards decarbonisation and green energy in the economies.Being an experienced energy lawyer myself having expertise and passion for sustainable and net zero future. My legal background spans corporate, regulatory, energy and environmental laws allowing me to provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients navigating the evolving energy landscape. Currently I'm a student at University of Aberdeen, Scotland – majoring in energy transition laws. Here, I’m exploring international energy and environmental law with transboundary environmental issues along with studying law to promote renewable energy, framing a low carbon transition and securing investments in renewable energy. These research areas are not only going to enhance my understanding and expertise in the clean and green energy but also help me to recognise the pressing issues preventing the net zero future. Living and study in the Aberdeen, the energy hub of Europe, provides me with unparalleled exposure to a vibrant and thriving energy sector and how decarbonisation is shaping the larger economy of the UK and the world.
