My name is Sargon (they/them). I have always been interested in advancing my skills in a variety of fields, but the one thing that has always connected my endeavors has been communication. The sharing of information. Teaching feels like too narrow a description, because the topic, form, and method varies greatly, but I feel like life is all about learning and when I have so much enthusiasm for sharing knowledge, the message seems to really come through to others. This has been present in expected ways, such as when I have taught in a classroom or given tours or helped pet owners understand the care they need, but it also shows up in my creative work. A well edited video communicates a clear message to the viewer, whether it's directly stated or told through a story. A good graphic must communicate a very specific set of info in a very pared-down form. And good art must communicates a thought or feeling or message. I feel that when you approach any field with the goal of communication in mind, it opens up greater understanding of the matter at hand and better directs the process as well.
