Hey I'm Sabrina-Anne, thanks for visiting my LinkedIn page :-)Admittedly, I'm quite the anomaly as I have extremely varied skills but the good thing is... they are all wonderful and transferable. In a nutshell, I'm a Part Qualified ACCA Accountant and also an experienced Marketing & PR Professional across the entertainment, fashion and music industries - pretty odd right? I have over 15 years work experience, initially starting out in the world of Sales where I worked for a home improvements company. From the tender age of 16, I quickly demonstrated strong work ethic and leadership skills - progressing my way up in the company, to becoming a Team Leader and supervisor of 10+ telesales staff. I can confidently share that the advancement of my communication skills, was not solely developed by all the excessive telephone chats with girlfriends, I have a feeling this role also had something to do with my gift of the gab!In school, I was a lover of maths and was always pretty good with numbers. With these factors plus the insight that most Accountants made A LOT of money, I was sold on the plan to become an accountant. I completed my AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and started my long and painful journey through ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). My full time work experience also begun at this stage, as I was working for a highly reputable consumer PR agency, Lexis Public Relations. It was here that my marketing interests started to ignite a different type of fire and career choice. After 7years working the world of finance (within PR), I was personally asked to transfer departments and train up as an Entertainment Publicist at Mission Media. Now this is where things began to get interesting... I developed great media and entertainment contacts, I was a twitter addict (I mean specialist) and realised I was actually a lot more creative than I ever thought (my ability to draw is awful).
