Scott Brooks is currently a medical device consultant and advisor at Atomic Medical. He was the former President & Chief Executive Officer and Board member at Regenesis Biomedical. Scott joined Regenesis in January 2012 as the Chief Operating Officer and shortly after joining, the Board promoted him to head the company. During his nine years at Regenesis, he facilitated major advances in Life Science Research, Clinical Research, Product Innovation, Regulatory Guidance and Customer Engagement. Scott helped position the company with a new business model that included a unique, non-invasive for-sale device and the development of a pathway to an expanded indication for use. Over his four decade career, Scott has held senior executive positions with five medical device organizations. Scott has extensive experience in sales, marketing, national accounts, regulatory, clinical research, life science, product development and operations. Prior to Regenesis he held the position of President in the U.S. and Canada for BSN Medical located in Charlotte, NC. At BSN, Scott was instrumental in advancing U.S. and Canadian sales and marketing, plus elevating senior management execution. This culminated in the sale of BSN medical for $2.26 B to Nordic private equity company EQT Partners. Prior to BSN, Scott was the VP of Sales and National Accounts for Kinetic Concepts Inc. (KCI), the global leader of advanced wound care devices. During his tenure at KCI, he held senior leadership positions during the process of KCI going private in 1997 then public in February 2004. Scott served at an executive level as the company emerged into the innovative global leader in advanced wound care. He was also instrumental in two mergers and acquisitions, plus negotiated and implemented numerous strategic contracts and alliances. Scott’s experience also includes successful leadership positions with The Hill-Rom Company and Kimberly-Clark Healthcare. Mr. Brooks was formerly on the Board of Directors for AdvaMed (Advanced Medical Technologies), Accel (emerging company Board) both in Washington, DC and the Board for Arizona Biosciences in Phoenix, AZ. 
Scott received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Western Washington University and studied in the master's business program at Seattle University. He has attended executive management programs at University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and the Center for Creative Leadership. Scott has also been a Medical Device strategy consultant to McKinsey & Company, the Boston Consulting Group, Alpha Sights and GLG Research.
