I am an experienced plantation management professional with over eight years of expertise in Sri Lanka’s plantation industry, specializing in estate operations, cultivation practices, and sustainable management. My career has spanned diverse roles, multiple estates, and three provinces, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s operational and strategic dimensions.My journey began as a Supervisor at Mercantile Brokers, where I managed the day-to-day operations of a tea factory. This role provided a strong foundation in production processes and operational oversight. In 2017, I joined Sadaharitha Plantation Limited as a Senior Field Officer, gaining in-depth knowledge of field operations and plantation management. My dedication and contributions were recognized with a promotion to Junior Executive in 2020.Currently, I serve as an Estate Incharge Officer, managing the Horagoda Estate in the Western Province. I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of estate management, including cultivation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance, while ensuring operational excellence and sustainability.In addition to my professional experience, I have a solid academic background in plantation management. I hold a Diploma in Plantation Management from the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka (2024) and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Plantation Management at the same university.
