Coordinated consultations on the design of the U-LEARN program COVID19 pandemic response that culminated into thedevelopment of the COVID19 response information hub.• Coordinating preliminary consultations on the setup of the Uganda refugee response learning hub to guide the uptake and use of learnings and best practices in the humanitarian and relief work.• Provided ICT4D advisory services to SCI (Save the children international) on the integration of ICT4D in program implementation.• Provided requirements analysis to automate the process of matching the technology innovations with the humanitarian responders requests and support.• Conducted mapping of the Uganda technology innovation ecosystem to ascertain their readiness to support humanitarian and relief response.

Kampala

Customised the commcare platform, designed and developed a case management workflow for the OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children) that allows linkage to services,treatment referrals and case follow up by the social workers.Designed and developed a digitised referral system that allows referral of cases from the para social workers to the health facilities, community development officers, district probation office and local community based organisations.Integrated the commcare case management platform into the program management information system that allows real time data flow and reporting from the front line workers.

Hoima

Customised the commcare platform and designed the maternal and neonatal tools to be used by the health care workers.Capacity building of the project team on the implementation of the digital health initiative in Hoima as well as training of the health care workers onthe usage of the digital health tools for maternal and neonatal follow up of pregnant and lactating mothers.

Uganda

Designed and developed a platform for exchange of information between duty bearers in the school management as well as track use of the learning, inclusiveness and use of the government funds in the government funded lower primary schools in the districts of Luweero, Tororo and Kamuli.Specific accomplishments• Provided technical expertise in the business analysis including communication needs assessment, system design, development and deployment of the SMS based ICT system that tracks UPE(Universal Primary Education) grant and education service delivery in government aided primary schools.• Provided leadership in the design, testing, documentation and simulation of the ICT processes for school governance using mobile technology. • Supported testing and documentation of various information and communication flows using mobile technology and eventual promotion and deployment of the technology.• Conducted training for project participants, including school staff, parents, local leaders, district leaders and school children on use of mobile technology for school governance.• Provide onsite troubleshooting and preparation of the mobile gadgets for use by the particpants.• Supported the project promotion and development of IEC materials related to the use of mobile technology in the project.• Collected, analyzed and disseminated information exchanged through the platform for issues that require escalation and out of context issues to be forwarded to other relevant organs in the district.
