Received a solid concrete foundation in Front End Engineering throughout The Iron Yard's 12-week intensive programming bootcamp. I worked individually as well as on teams throughout the course to develop a dozen open source web pages, and single page web applications. The majority of the program was hands on in OOP code development with best practices always in mind with frameworks such as AngularJS and Backbone.js. Most projects involved regular interactions API endpoints. A basic understanding on unit testing was covered, but not in depth. Pixel-perfect layout exercises were undertaken and heavy lines of CSS were implemented, but the main focus was geared towards JavaScript.
