After years of experience developing BPM solutions using the ActiveVOS Platform, Steven was tasked with transitioning his team to the Camunda BPM Development Software. He learned the new platform, developed and delivered training to transition his entire team, and then served as a mentor for new developers. Steven has also been responsible for providing massive value to internal clients by acting as System Engineer, BPM Designer, and Camunda Developer to complete dozens of new BPM Processes. He has added Java, Javascript, and cloud development tools (such as Kubernetes) to his technical skills.

AT&T is a global supplier of Telecommunication services and Steven was hired to work in a new business group focused on creating Business Process Management (BPM) solutions for U-Verse Service Delivery. As a charter member of this group, Steven has been involved with all phases of the effort from Business Case creation through implementation of BPM processes and services across multiple business groups.- Steven wrote Business Requirements for BPM System and Web Service Interfaces. As part of the Business, he worked closely with IT partners to define scope, requirements, and serve as an interface for software development.- Was responsible for creation of detailed Business Case justification for BPM Group. Performed analysis of existing mode of operation and detailed impact on business of implementing future mode of operation. Developed detailed cost savings analysis, wrote descriptions of business impact, and presented Business Cases to Finance and Management.- Studied Business Processes and IT systems used from Customer order placement through final installation. Learned ActiveVOS BPM Software and Web Service development in a short period of time to support aggressive delivery goals.- Used ActiveVOS to develop over 30 BPM Flows including Smart Dispatch flows designed to dramatically reduce Technician dispatches and provide an excellent Customer experience.- Based on this extensive ActiveVOS experience, now leading teams of off-shore developers to leverage experience with AT&T systems and to ensure high-quality BPM Processes. CMIT Solutions is an Information Technology Managed Services and Consulting company for small and mid-sized businesses. It was founded by Steven Seymour and reached a peak of 10 employees providing consulting, technical support and training. The objective of the business was to help small businesses improve their operations and reduce cost thru effective application of technology. Steven’s key responsibility was to perform in-depth Business Needs Assessments for every client, create proposals to address their needs, and manage the implementation of the recommendations. The key challenge was working with a wide range of different industries including Medical, Financial, and Retail.- Consulted with multiple Medical offices to create training and provide support for their Practice Management Systems (MediSoft, MicroFour Practice Studio). Helped staff improve their operations by utilizing features that were previously not included.- CMIT Solutions provided Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions to retail businesses. Steve analyzed the inventory management and sales needs, and developed complete turn-key solutions including hardware, software and training. Helped dozens of companies streamline their operations and improve sales.- CMIT Solutions provided accounting solutions, including QuickBooks Enterprise, and Steve worked directly with businesses to integrate their electronic payment and Electronic Data Interchange systems resulting in much stronger relationships with customers and suppliers.- Consulted on the selection of a School Management System (ClassRoll) for a Private School, developed a series of training classes, and delivered the training to school personnel. - Supported production of APS-124 Radar Receiver and Antenna. Performed statistical process analysis of critical antenna parameters to improve quality and cost. (Yield improved from 72% to 100% for $12,000 dollar assembly)- Member of design team that developed Test Set for Signal Processing Unit of APS-134 Radar. Participated in every phase of product development including proposal, conceptual/detailed design, test set manufacturing, and final test/integration.
