Responsible for strategic leadership and management of the Surface Engineering team within Argentina Operations. The main responsibilities of the team included: discipline engineering (mechanical, inspection, controls/automation, electrical, reliability), process safety, surface surveillance, drafting, and small projects.Site Process Owner for key business processes: Management of Change, Manage Equipment Care, Ensure Quality Product. Key contributor to the Manage Threats and Opportunities, Wells Reservoir and Facility Management, and Ensure Safe Production business processes.

Provided process safety support for assets and projects in Shales/Onshore Gas. Technical Safety focal point for all assets and projects in Argentina, and previously Permian, Eagle Ford, and South Texas assets. Supported various projects and led HEMP studies for Pinedale, Appalachia, and ad-hoc Canada and Deepwater assets when necessary.Responsible for development of HSE Cases, ALARP demonstrations, facilitating HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, and other ALARP discussions. Supported businesses and projects to identify fit-for-purpose solutions in a marginal business. Participated in assurance exercises for various locations - HSSE JV due diligence in a Louisiana chemical plant (2012), Argentina HSSE Control Framework Audit (2014), Nigeria LNG HSSE Control Framework Audit (2015), Olympus TLP Regulatory Compliance Audit (2015).Jan 2017 until Aug 2018, on assignment in Argentina supporting startup of new early production facility and implementing MOC process in Operations.

Duties were performing various consequence analysis (FRA, QRA, etc.), safety case development for onshore as well as offshore fixed and mobile assets, and any other HSSE / process safety services our clients required.

Worked mostly on-site supporting our managed-services contract with a petrochemical company in Pasadena.
