Service Infrastructure teams build the platforms and frameworks that power the distributed services for all engineering teams at LinkedIn. We make social and economic impacts for our members by providing a fast and reliable service infrastructure foundation. We aim to amaze our engineers at how powerful and easy our infrastructure is to build and operate distributed services. This charter gives us incredible flexibility to tackle the challenging and complex problems that confront our engineering teams. We own one of the biggest distributed systems at LinkedIn. We guide and work with the rest of engineering in establishing best practices and design patterns. We strive to stay at the forefront of the industry and contribute back to the open source and community whenever we can. The team cares deeply about making our infrastructure and frameworks scalable and leverageable by the rest of the company.

I was a key contributor and maintainer to the Rest.li open source project - a RESTful framework for building robust, scalable RESTful architectures using type-safe bindings and asynchronous, non-blocking IO over HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/2. Rest.li helped moving LinkedIn online stack from a monolithic to service oriented architecture serving thousands endpoints and millions of requests per second.

I worked as a part of the Azure Front Door team and built the first version of Microsoft edge network – a global network that minimizes network latency between users and Microsoft services, enhances availability through load-balancing, and also provides services such as CDN, AB testing, request metadata enrichment, bot detection, and DDoS protection. The Edge service facilitated the growth of Microsoft's online presence, expanded network throughput over Tbps , and served millions of requests per second.

I created proof-of-concept Application Composition Framework (ACF), a software development framework that allows application developers to discover and use extensions with minimum coding and configuration required. ACF also enables development of highly reusable modules across applications. I also developed PoC applications on ACF for partner teams to facilitate adoption of the framework.

I developed Amazon Merchant Transport Utility (AMTU) version 2.0 that automates the process for sending feeds to, and receiving reports from Amazon Services.
