Senior Program Manager
Development and Economic Team- Assist to First Secretary and Consular of the Development Team in reportings- Analyze the effects of government fiscal and monetary policies, expenditure, taxation, pension and budgetary policies under Public Financial Management (PFM) on the reform economy of Myanmar- Access the effects on labor market, welfare, economic growth and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) statistic data- Report to First Secretary on inflation rate, foreign exchange rates fluctuation, consumer prices index, households’ income, unemployment rate - Provide advice on Aid Program implementation, monitoring and design- Advise on development likely to affect the efficiency and effectiveness of Australia’s Aid Programs which impact on Myanmar policies and issues on Australia’s Aid Program- Build relationships with other donor embassies, stakeholders, NGOs, UN agencies, external networks to share analysis experiences and lessons learned between different projects- Provide high level input into strategic planning, and monitor the implementation of policy decisions- Develop and maintain key stake holder relationships between the two governments and Australia’s contributions acknowledged- Represent Australia’s position at meetings with senior officials from the government and partner organizations including other embassies, Think-Tanks and the World Bank
