Building a new role involving APP contribution in Interventional Cardiology- Cardiac Cath LabClinical and procedural responsibilities for inpatient and outpatient heart procedures performed in the cardiac cath lab at UCSF.Critical role in assisting the fellows and attendings with pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care responsibilities for procedural patients.Responsible for pre-operative evaluation, assessment, obtaining history and physicals, consenting patients, scrubbing during procedures, oversight of care transitions, discharge planning and teaching, and performance of specific procedures.

Thoracic Surgery PA- Operating room assist, hospital post-op management, outpatient care, and administrative support. Rounded on inpatients. Developed and implemented patient management plans, progress notes, and facilitated in provision of continuity of care. Facilitated admissions, transfers and patient discharge.
