6 work rotations, 40+ hours/wk. (20 months total work experience) Paid cooperative work program position supporting projects being done by engineering consulting company ATA Engineering. Projects varied from hands on testing of UAVs, designing & machining test fixtures, design optimization of aerospace structures, and analysis of various engineering products. Majority of projects were analysis on Aerospace Systems. Gained extensive knowledge in finite element modeling, analysis, and post-processing, as well as solid model manipulation during my employment.

6+ hours/wk. After school. Team Leader for the undergraduate researchers working on the Boeing: Design & Manufacturing CAD/Simulation project. The main objective of this project is to discover new techniques to create parametric models from pre-existing CAD models delivered as a step file.

8 hours/week after school. Integrated Product and Life cycle Engineering Lab. A research assistantship for course credit. The purpose of the course was to design a new hybrid aircraft type that takes off vertically and converts to horizontal flight. The primary goal of this research project was proof of concept. This aircraft is intended for both commercial and military applications.

6 hours/week after school. Integrated Product and Life cycle Engineering Lab. Paid position creating a summer camp program to peak middle school and high school age students' interest in the STEM field. The camp was two weeks long and taught the kids how to use the basics of CATIA, as well as a simple design methodology to design, optimize, and test 3D printed helicopter blades.

10 hours/wk. after school. Paid position monitoring the late night experiments and tooling operations of SILA Nanotechnologies. Responsible for checking the progress of the aforementioned experiments, alter experiment parameters, ensure safe operation of automated tools handling explosive gases, and lock up facilities at the end of the night.

8 hours/wk. after school. Integrated Product and Life cycle Engineering Lab. Paid position focusing on the use of multi-user design software to redesign the wing of the F-86 fighter jet. A complete life cycle engineering approach was taken to redesign the wing to utilize composites. The overall goal was to prove the practicality of the multi-user CAD software, NX Connect.

15 hrs/wk after school. Paid position starting as an entry level scorekeeper, eventually advancing to managing a concession stand with a full kitchen and four subordinates. Responsible for maintaining efficient work flow, giving assignments to subordinates, and making nightly cash deposits in excess of $2,000.
