College is very important these days to get you where you want to be in life. I have worked in the accounting profession for over 18 years. Throughout that time, I have learned most aspects of how the field operates. Starting at the bottom and working your way up the ladder gives you a greater sense of knowledge in the field. You have a greater understanding of how it all comes together. I did find that to further my career, I needed the college background. My experience has taught me the following:Everyone's job is important. If you are the janitor or the CEO of an organization, it takes the effort of everyone to make businesses work.Treat others with the same respect that you expect.Gain as much experience as you can.Take advantage of seminars or any training programs offered. They may help you in the future.Most importantly, never stop looking for innovative ideas to make your organization run more effectively.
