As the state director at the New York Small Business Development Center (NYSBDC), I oversee the network of 20 regional centers that provide technical assistance to small and medium-sized businesses across the state. With an MBA in business and a background in accounting and finance, I bring analytical skills, strategic thinking, and financial expertise to my role. I have more than 10+ years of experience in the small business development sector, working in various positions at the Pennsylvania SBDC and the Kutztown University SBDC. I have designed, implemented, and reviewed programs to enhance the delivery of services, ensured compliance with federal and state regulations, secured and administered external funding for research and training projects, and developed financial projections and narratives for pre-venture and existing businesses. My mission is to support the growth and success of small businesses, which are the backbone of the economy and the community. I am passionate about art, dance, and wellness, and I plan to start a program that focuses on these areas for adolescents and adults with mental and physical disabilities.
