Gippsland Cheese is wholesaler, distributor and manufacturer of specialty cheese and cheese accompaniments, showcasing artisan Australian produce. Whilst predominantly from Gippsland we also select and supply supporting ranges to complement our overall offer and to meet our customers requirements.We are also manufacturers of our Artisan's Table brand, which we've developed and make by hand.I purchased the business in 2014 with the intention to market and distribute amazing local product as we create innovative and interesting new ranges for a curious and developing palette.

This Business Development Executive role works across the broader IBM business units to build and sell BPO services to meet specific client requirements.Business Transformation Leader – Strategy & Innovation, Global Process Services(Jan 2013 – Nov 2014)IBM had entered into a remediation program with a large Australian client looking to increase visibility of spend and compliance to contracted arrangements with their suppliers through their global procurement shared services business.As leader of the turnaround and a member of the executive steering committee we built and delivered specific project initiatives / work-streams to address key client issues. On program completion, we transitioned an increase in visibility to 70% and contract compliance of 60%, with a plan to continue this improvement trajectory, as well as scoping a range of further policy and process opportunities for the client to continue their improvement program over the next two (2) years.

    Prior to the purchase by Infosys in January 2012, I had the great pleasure of working with Gavin Solsky and Dave Gardiner within their Portland Global Souring (PGS) business unit, in support of their broader Portland Group business. PGS was an Australian owned International Procurement Office with a team of sourcing / procurement specialists based in Shanghai, China supplementing our Account Management teams in Australia.Initially built to support the Portland Group procurement and supply chain product offering the business required significant restructuring and re-focusing on delivering high value added services to clients looking to engage with suppliers in emerging markets. On execution of the agreed strategy and a return to profitability Portland Group was subsequently purchased by Infosys in January 2012 resulting in the spinning off of PGS to a China based management company and I exited the business.Underpinned by the growth of the business across this time, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to assist Gavin and Dave to deliver the global procurement strategy for an ASX listed Resources company post the acquisition by Infosys, on a contract basis, and exited the business on the delivery of this strategy.

This food service business has been the pre-dominate supplier into the mid-top end restaurant, catering and hotel market in metropolitan Melbourne for over twenty (20) years.We re-invigorated the business by refreshing the brand, investing in targeted assets to significantly improve the delivery model and developing an international product selection, sourcing and category management capability to secure added margin and position the long term viability of the business with key agency lines. This resulted in significant revenue and profitability growth.I sold my shareholding and exited the business, along with Jones The Grocer, in June 2010.

This has resulted in re-positioning of the brand and business in the regional market.I sold my shareholding and exited the business, along with the Senselle Foods, in June 2010.
