As part of the Tax Management group, our team has been tasked with the mission of delivering one of the company's most critical product: A new tax engine for collection and payment of more than 30 billion dollars of taxes to over 12,000 different Federal/State/Local jurisdictions around the United States, on the behalf of our clients.The unit that I'm part of is responsible for the integration with Ultimate Software's HCM core product (UltiPro), and other external services.- Following a micro service architecture pattern. - Using RabbitMQ to communicate between services.- Following a Domain Driven Design pattern.- Following Test Driven Development: Writing Unit and Integration tests during development.- Using the Task Parallel Library to create a workflow for data coming into the tax system.- Using MongoDb and MSSQL as repositories.

Leading the development of Microsoft products for Televisa's OTT platform in latin america, known as Blim. (http://www.blim.com). Leading the development of Blim's Xbox One app, designed to provide a rich, intuitive and responsive 10-feet experience for the user. This app allows users to browse a broad selection of movies, series and programs, reproduce adaptive streaming video, select a preferred audio language or subtitles. The app is developed using Microsoft's Universal Windows Platform (UWP), C#/Xaml, PlayReady DRM for content protection and SmoothStreaming for the adaptive video source. This player works for most major web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari and Firefox. The player reproduces Smooth Streaming video under Microsoft's PlayReady DRM content protection. It was developed using Microsoft's Silverlight, C#/Xaml and Javascript.Technical advisor of Blim's Xbox 360 app. Provided feedback, troubleshooting and QA to a third party company in charge of development, until the app was ready to be published. Leaded the release of the app into the store.All projects are managed using Agile methodologies and tools.
