Collaborate with management, various departments, and PwC to foster an optimal and effective control environment. Received several promotions based on previous successes within Masco. Absorb additional responsibilities during the absence of management to mitigate operational disruptions.

Participation in planning of Management's ICFR Self-Testing program including annual risk assessment process. Coordinating with BU Process Owners/Department Managers to help maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of internal control procedures. Perform testing of internal controls to determine that controls are designed and operating effectively. Preparation of reports and supporting work papers outlining results and status of internal control testing. Assist the Global ICFR Director with various applications owned by the Corporate Control Services Department. Primary System Administrator for our multifunctional, cloud-based business process tool. Mentoring Internal Controls interns and performing a first level review of their work.

Conducted testing of SOX control to determine adequate operations. Recognized root causes of control deficiencies and communicated findings to management and process owners to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Coordinated reports and supporting documents that outline results and status of control testing. Assisted in the creation of new applications to streamline operations. Primary system administrator for our Onspring tool for our contracts process.

Prepared monthly reconciliation worksheets and cash balance sheets. Organized, entered and reconciled daily stock activity. Prepared working trial balances and sub-ledgers and prepared multiple tax forms. Reconciled 1099 data with book data. Completed monthly reports reflecting FMV analysis, Gain (Loss) Analysis, and Cash Flow reports. Assisted manager with daily reports including cash flow, collateral, and FMV. Occasionally reviewed and compared pending insurance policy to the current insurance policy, prior to renewal.

As an intern, I filed taxes, researched tax laws in every state (mostly for interest and penatlies) and passed the Six Sigma Green Belt test. I learned a lot about tax and I am confident that this experience will help me out in the future.

I worked as a receptionist and financial assistant most of the time, but I also worked with the Greek Life community, the Homecoming Committee and the 50th Anniversary Committee.

I organized several tests (e.g. drop test, retention test) on prototypes of Airbag Control Units. I familiarized myself with Solid Works, PowerPoint and Excel and made several presentations to display test results. I also traveled out of state to review a potential new supplier.

I had the basic duties of a teller and won several awards throughout my time there for fast and accurate service as well as an award for loss prevention.
