I was contracted to the GE Aerospace "Security Squad" as a Remediation Engineer. In this role, I fixed cybersecurity vulnerabilities and helped other developers do the same on various GE applications. I often was tasked with explaining vulnerabilities and their implications to other developers and non-technical App Owners. As one of the principal developers on a team with a unique structure, we created a developer pipeline and onboarded new developers onto the team - expanding from 2 to 6 developers. The structure was deemed a success and has been replicated throughout GE Aerospace with our standardized development structure. In my time here, I mitigated 1000+ issues and added event logging to 5+ web applications, predominantly in Java and Javascript.

Here, I led the QA effort on the Systems Integrations team by ensuring new features on existing applications were integrated smoothly and worked as expected. I also created detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports in technical and non-technical formats. I executed these tests using Postman, XML manipulation, and SQL for 1000+ test cases across 75+ projects.
