Act as project manager to coordinate review of complex permit applications internally with fellow staff and externally with other Local, State, and Federal Agencies; conduct site inspections; perform environmental impact assessments and overall site plan review; provide regulatory oversight to ensure projects comply with all applicable regulations; respond to client and public concerns; lead improvement initiatives to revise regulatory documents that enhance efficiency and support compliance; prepare technical and legally binding documents.

At Quest Diagnostics, I was the site lead for the Lake Placid office. My responsibilities included providing exceptional customer service; registering patients through Care360 software program; maintaining confidentiality regarding patient health and financial information; verifying and entering test requisitions with high accuracy; successfully obtaining blood specimens via venipunctures and fingersticks following appropriate aseptic procedures; and processing specimens following applicable company Standard Operating Procedures, NYSDOH policies and procedures, and federal regulations. Administrative responsibilities of this position included answering phones, scheduling appointments, and ordering office/phlebotomy supplies.

With the Bureau of Environmental Radiation, I routinely reviewed and issued new radioactive material licenses, amendments, renewals, terminations and requests for reciprocity following State and Federal regulations; performed initial and routine compliance inspections of industrial radioactive material licensees including fixed and portable gauges, Research and Development (R&D) laboratories, broad scope licensees, and water treatment systems accumulating diffuse quantities of NORM (Naturally Occurring or Accelerator produced Radioactive Material); ensured compliance with all applicable State and Federal CFR regulations related to radioactive materials handling and waste disposal; prepared technical correspondence and issuance of enforcement actions; participated on the New Jersey Radioactive Materials Radiological Assessment Team (RAMRAT), available 24/7 for emergency response and technical assistance regarding non-nuclear radiation incidents; revised the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for processing of Generally Licensed Water Treatment Systems accumulating Diffuse NORM per adopted amendments to N.J.A.C. 7:28; organized and maintained the state database for Generally and Specifically Licensed Water Treatment Systems Accumulating Diffuse NORM; attended numerous Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and non-NRC training courses.

With the Bureau of Environmental Analysis, Restoration and Standards, I facilitated creation of the 2012 Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report by creating numerous maps using ArcGIS 10 to identify impaired waterbodies, performing Quality Assurance checks across multiple documents to EPA’s software database and identifying watershed measures according to EPA guidelines. In addition, I have facilitated the 2013 Barnegat Bay Sampling Intensive by collecting water samples at various monitoring locations and processing/preserving the samples following specific QA procedures. Furthermore, I revised the 2012 Lake Watch Program documents and the Departments Quality Assurance Project Plans to obtain accurate, reproducible data for use in the Annual Integrated Reports.

As the Senior REA Career Counselor, I managed seven Career Counselors in proper counseling techniques, accurate identification of employment barriers and correct explanation of local, state, and federal unemployment programs. I would also counsel five or more clients daily to develop individualized Employment Developments Plans in accordance with guidelines developed by the State of Florida. Additionally, I would maintain daily correspondence with over 300 clients to provide new job market information and job postings, as well as ensured my team was professional and proficient.

As lead bartender for the regional operational excellence store, it was my main duty to ensure superior customer satisfaction, while collaborating with fellow employees to meet this goal. The strict standards of working in an operational excellence store entailed assisting in areas outside of my direct duties such as running food, greeting, and expediting meals. Naturally, this position required multitasking and dealing with large sums of cash accurately in a fast-paced environment. As needed, I would also train new bartenders in proper drink mixology unique to Macaroni Grill standards.

As a CO-OP, my main duties included preparing chemical standards to calibrate lab equipment and analyzing collected water samples for parameters such as ammonia, alkalinity, turbidity, color, and total dissolved solids followed to FLDEP Standard Operating Procedures. After analysis, I would enter the results into the LabWorks database. When possible, I would volunteer to assist the field sampler in collecting samples throughout the Tampa Bay area.
