As a Health Communications Specialist and a Public Health Researcher, I have a strong passion for advancing public health policy through research and advocacy. I have a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Maryland, with a focus on Public Health Practice and Policy. In my most recent role at Wayo Wayo Kibra, I applied my skills and knowledge in data analysis, health communications, and medical writing to various aspects of program development and implementation. I independently developed web-based platforms to facilitate fundraising from global donors, collaborated with a global team to implement a public health campaign to address a community needs-based problem, and synthesized health literature for various audiences. I also have experience as a Researcher, where I conducted and published multiple studies on health-related topics. I am eager to immerse myself in a challenging and rewarding environment that has the resources and capabilities to further my career and contribute to the improvement of public health outcomes.
