As an agricultural economist committed to sustainable practices, my research focuses on integrating regenerative agriculture with climate resilience. I am passionate about exploring innovative strategies that empower farmers and reduce environmental impact. I’m eager to collaborate with leading researchers to drive meaningful change in the field.My research delves deeply into sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on how regenerative methods can be integrated into traditional farming systems. I have conducted extensive studies on the economic viability of these practices, striving to balance productivity with environmental stewardship.For over nine years, I have served in the agriculture department in Punjab, working closely with farming communities across the region. My role involved not only promoting sustainable practices but also empowering farmers by enhancing their decision-making abilities through education and resource provision. My work primarily trickled down from market to farm-level decisions and explores their linkages with the environment, markets, societies, and policies, with a focus on sustainable agriculture food systems. The hands-on experience has solidified my understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the agricultural landscape.In collaboration with farmers, I have championed the adoption of regenerative economics, focusing on creating sustainable marketing strategies that benefit both the environment and the farming community. My work aims to build resilient agricultural food systems that can withstand the pressures of climate change while ensuring economic sustainability for farmers.
