Over the last few years my Passion for IT Security has evolved from a purely Technical and Pre Sales Engineer to a More Senior Role in both Channel Management and Sales Management.This can be seen in the companies i have joined over the last few years and the positions i have filled.My biggest accomplishment is the time i spent at Kaspersky Lab South Africa.In 2009 I moved to the position of Technical Manager at Kaspersky in their Kaspersky Lab Africa Department. Here I started as Technical manager and was the only qualified trainer. I was then moved later into being the Corporate Sales Manager where I was responsible for Pre and post sales to specific clientele. In 2011 I was moved to the position of Operations Director for Sub Saharan Africa in the Kaspersky Lab Africa department. I was responsible for running operations of the South African office and also was responsible for expanding the Kaspersky footprint within the African continent.In 2012 I became the Managing Director Kaspersky Lab Africa. I was responsible for the daily operations of the African Office. I was also responsible for the ever expansion of the Kaspersky footprint and the management of partners within the Kaspersky lab Network. Since Kaspersky I helped companies like eScan reinvent their Channel Programs and expand sales footprint through out South Africa,I started SSMT IT Solutions as a work from home company which slowly picked up speed and now we are Sole Distributor for an Awesome Encryption solution called WinMagic. We currently provide Managed Services solutions to the SMB market all over the East Rand. We recently introduced Security and Compliance auditing to these companies with specific focus around the new Protection of Personal Information Act.In 2013 I joined up with Novell South Africa as a Partner Executive with my primary focus to look after their current Partner Program and use the Experience i gained during Kaspersky and eScan to make small changes to help smooth out
