All good marketers help create a bond between potential clients and those who deliver goods and services. It’s a people business and, when done in a purposeful way, delivers results that build a bond to last a lifetime.My mom was a brand loyalist. Her first bike was a Schwinn, so my first bike was a Schwinn. She just about fell out of her chair when I was offered a job at Schwinn and didn’t fully understand why I couldn’t accept that offer. But that didn’t deter her love for the brand, and that love, in part, was created through the power of marketing and relationship-building.But I digress…My marketing story actually begins before that offer from Schwinn. I’m a fella who believes in living my dreams and accepting challenges when they are presented. Sometimes those dreams include ill-advised activities (like thinking that running 100 miles is a good idea), but more often than not, those dreams are centered around how to make the world a better place through the power of digital marketing.I started my marketing journey as a copywriter. One day, our graphic designer quit without warning. Being the only person in the building who knew how to turn on a Mac, I evolved (quickly) to be a designer and produced my first mail-order catalog for the company a short 3 weeks later.Since then, I have performed virtually every role in the digital marketing production lifecycle – from strategy and concepting, to design and development, to QA/QC, and everything in between. Along the way, I realized that my greatest joy was derived from helping others achieve their goals. So much so, that I have made it my mission to help drive personal and professional greatness for others through purposeful, conversion-focused digital marketing strategy, coaching, and execution.When not helping ease the frustrations experienced by busy entrepreneurs and executive-level professionals, I can be found traipsing around the woods near the cabin in which I have lived with my wife and menagerie of pets since 1993, watching movies, reading, or polishing the details on my latest (possibly ill-advised) master plans for my next adventure or laughter-inducing shenanigans.
