I was a multi-disciplined Communications Electronics engineering officer in the Royal Air Force for over 19 years.I am experienced in; surface-to-air missile systems, air traffic management equipment, multi-domain voice and data bearer systems, mobile satellite ground stations, electronic warfare and information assurance.I have also led software engineering and testing teams for both mobile and web applications and have a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle in an Agile/SCRUM environment.I take personal professional development very seriously and I am an Incorporated Engineer with the IET, a Chartered Fellow with the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Association of Project Management.I started at Northern Powergrid as an IT and telecommunications programme manager; delivering WAN solutions to support the construction of strategic & critical national infrastructure.I am now responsible for a multi-skilled team of project engineers that are responsible for the design and installation of new electricity distribution infrastructure in the northeast and Yorkshire.My opinions are my own.Is fhèarr Gàidhlig bhriste na Gàidhlig sa chiste.

Ensured cohesion with a German Air Force Signals formation as they were the standby NATO Signals Battalion. This proved invaluable when working together in Afghanistan in the summer of 2013.
