As an engineer I have been working on a portfolio of products used to determine and optimize the quality of routes sailed by the Maersk fleet in terms of fuel consumption and safety perspectives. The product is provides recommendations on each vessel as well as ways for doing historical analysis on shore. The product portfolio is heavily based on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, and our models make use of Machine Learning (ML) models executed in automated pipeline flows.Technologies that I work with include:- FastAPI (Python)- Kubernetes and Docker- React- ML: SciKit learn and LightGBM- Azure Functions (serverless)- .NET / C#

As a senior consultant I have been part of the team developing a ‘one stop shop’ for handling and distributing EU VAT across EU member states. The solution is owned by the Danish taxation authority, and it is based on Sprint Boot, JPA, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes (Open Shift). I have in particular been part of the development of the login and role management components used by all micro services within the project.Furthermore, I have been part of architecting and implementing parts of an AWS Serverless solution for improving patient data quality within the English NHS authority. The solution applies AWS, Python based lambda functions, VPC infrastructure deployed by means of Terraform and Github Actions.

As a consultant, I was part of the development (and later on the maintenance) of a Spring / Grails based engine used by real estate brokers for obtaining real estate data from public sector registries. The engine is owned by the Danish Business authority. Initially I purely acted as a developer on the project, applying technologies such as Java, Hibernate, MySQL, Spring, Spring Boot and Grails. Consuming and exposing data by means of REST and SOAP was a typical part of my work. A year into the project I became team lead, making me responsible for activities such as team dispositions, customer relations and architectural considerations.

During my student and full time employment at Asseco, I participated in the development of a software application used by insurance companies residing within EU who are to compute their solvency as dictated by the Solvency II directive.
