Specialising in operational service delivery, engaging communities, behaviour change, impact management and governance, with meaningful consultation and co-production running as the golden threads throughout. I have worked in health and wellbeing, across VCSE, NHS, and Local Authority for more than 20 years, as a manager and senior manager. Coaching others to help themselves, promoting equality and improving wellbeing are passions of mine. My working career has brought professionals and service users together to create meaningful dialogue to develop programmes which engage hard to reach communities including carers, young people and LGBTQ+.A self-confessed data geek, I love to create monitoring frameworks, evaluate KPIs, shape service specifications and review impacts on programmes. Keen to always strike a balance between qualitative and quantitative evidence, to demonstrate impact and added value, giving transparent feedback. I have an excellent track record of reaching targets and in particular getting failing targets back on track. In 2009/10 I implemented a recovery plan for the national chlamydia screening target locally in Salford. Salford was the only PCT area in the North West to achieve the target that year. I also love to use my creativity in service development and delivery. I devised the award winning slogan for a sexual health awareness campaign, "Gonorrhoea - Hard To Spell - Easy To Catch", led on the development of safer sex packs and set up Greater Manchester's first Netreach programme, speaking to gay and bisexual men about sexual health and wellbeing utilising online platforms.ILM Level 5 NVQ and BTEC in Leadership and Management.
