  During my time in the Royal New Zealand Air Force I have accomplished so much.I passed recruit course which tested my physical and mental endurance. Over 24 months I completed the Airforce logistics trade training which consists of a junior and senior course, on the job training and the RNZAF Air Movements Course. These courses gave me a good grounding in SAP and all areas of logistics. I gained the below qualifications and licenses:- NZ certificate in Aeronautical Storekeeping (Aviation parts handling / Aviation tool stores, Level 3) -NZ certificate in Aviation (Airline check-in, Level 3) -NZTA Forklift license -NZTA DG Endorsement -OCC Safety and Health Forklift (Light) -IATA Dangerous Goods Certificate.I have attended courses in:-mentoring -diversity and inclusion -bicultural awareness -height safetyI managed a supply store that serviced 8 sections with two junior staff and I have been involved with two stock management and procurement projects. I have helped plan many events from, inspirational speakers to networking events all of which have contributed in the further development of my communication and time management skills. As a Logistics Specialist, I am responsible for the supply and distribution of military materials, hardware, supplies and personnel using sophisticated computerised systems. My main tasks on any given day include: -Using SAP software for the purposes of Inventory management, stock control, batch management, inventory reporting, Material Requirement Planning.-Completing supervisory checks-Mentoring and training new staff-Processing items for external repair -Overseeing maintenance forecasts and arranging servicing-IATA Dangerous Goods processing and dispatching-Processing inwards and outwards goods-Domestic departure and arrival processing of personnel via military air transportI have found the logistics role within the NZDF to be very rewarding challenge.
