Responsible for implementing Epic Radiant, Nuance PowerScribe and multiple PACS and hardware upgrades. Continually reviewed and modified IT workflow and hardware to improve efficiencies and patient care.- Planned and completed a multi-million-dollar, radiology expansion and renovation project in two hospitals. Also successfully proposed, planned and opened Children’s first full-service outpatient imaging center in an Atlanta suburb.

Additionally, spearheaded the Child magazine survey effort that resulted in Children’s first national ranking (number four cardiac program in the nation).- Directed the development of the “Phase II” Cardiac strategic plan for 2004-2008. Included a comprehensive research plan that added basic and translational research to the existing clinical research program.- Directly managed the Cardiac Information Systems and Cardiac Research. 130+ clinicians utilized the Cardiac information systems, which improved both clinical and business efficiency and provided research with a central data repository. The Cardiac Research Department coordinated 60+ trials.
