I'm an advocate for urban agriculture, food access and environmental sustainability as well as an experienced grant writer, editor and journalist. I like to fill gaps: I co-founded the nonprofit Hands On Harvests, launched and ran a highly successful FCPS elementary school environmental ed program, and was on the founding committee of the Fairfax chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists.
