At age 19 I fell in love with kart racing. Since then I have been a driver on and off over the years, worked with events and organizations all over the country as corner worker, score keeper, series secretary, grid steward and 1x even and assistant race director (never again on that one! thankless job.) While completing my college education I used the talents I have for marketing, design layout and organization to continue to fuel my love of the sport. After 9+ years in automotive finance, and 15+ years in the insurance industry, I have finally been given the opportunity to utilize all that I have learned and experienced to earn a living in the industry I love. At the end of June 2018 I started working at Target Distributing in South Bend, Indiana. Target is a very large provider of parts and accessories to the karting industry across the world. If you have purchased from more than 5 kart shops, chances are something you purchased originated at Target's warehouse in South Bend. I am blessed to have this opportunity and I appreciate everyday the difference it has made in my life.
