As a Lecturer Foundation Studies and a Personal Development Coach at New College Durham, I teach and support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them to achieve their academic and personal goals. I have a PGCE in Post Compulsory Education, and a BA in Visual and Performing Arts, which enable me to incorporate creative and engaging methods into my teaching and coaching practice. I have over six years of experience in the education sector, having previously worked as the Head of Student Engagement at Middlesbrough College, where I led and coordinated various initiatives to enhance the student experience and wellbeing. I have strong skills in communication, hospitality, and collaboration, and I am passionate about working in the field of education and making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
