Studio Marshall has been created to provide bespoke, design-led Architecture.My vision is to create a practice which thrives on collaboration with local companies and designers. I am committed to providing a high quality service by working with clients to achieve their aspirations and coming up with creative solutions no matter what the size or project or budget.My passion is to producing well considered, sustainable and sensitively detailed buildings.

On completion of my Masters year I moved to Edinburgh to join 3DReid. During my time with thepractice I have been involved in a wide range of commercial, retail, office and hotel work. Projectsranging from small retail fit outs to large hotels and offices. I have been involved with work on existing buildings, including listed buildings, as well as the design and construction of new build developments. I have carried out the role of project architect on both traditional and design and build contracts, having run several projects on site.As well as being project architect on various projects, I have involved in competitive design and large scale bids producing images, brochures and presentations.I currently work across the retail and hotel sectors. Having just handed over a £13million hotel to Village Urban Resorts, I am working on developing the concept for the brand's future portfolio and I am also designing a retail development within Dundee's city centre conservation area.

I spent my Part 1 experience at James F Stephen Architects (JFSA) a medium sized rural practice, based in Glamis near Dundee. The practice dealt with a wide range of work from domestic and conservation to larger residential and PPP schools commissions. I also returned to the practice the following summer, where I continued to gain experience.Working at JFSA allowed me to gain experience within a family run, medium sized, rural practice. This allowed me to work within the domestic market , niche markets such as conservation as well as anumber of larger commissions including sheltered housing and nursery schemes. The smaller projects allowed me to get first hand experience of running a project, whist working along side a Project Architect on the larger schemes allowed me to further develop my skills and gain experience of the construction process.
