Community-Leadership-Passion.Hardworking-Reliable-Independent.Listen-Act-Deliver.Currently employed as a Training Co-Ordinator for a Business & Hospitality RTO where I am also undertaking a traineeship in Leadership & Management. Studying a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Psychological Sciences at Griffith Univerity and undertaking a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Previous employment includes, elected representative in local government, accounts/office manager and have also run my own small business. I also served on the Board for Logan Country Financial Services Limited (Bendigo Community Bank) and was the Vice President of the Logan Country Chamber of Commerce during its resurgence in 2012-14.A big part of my personal growth and development has been through volunteering in the community and holding leadership positions such as President of the Rotary Club of Loganholme, Chair of the Cancer Council’s City of Logan Relay for Life. I was also a member of Veto Energex Tower Organisation (VETO), Canterbury College and Bethania Lutheran P&F, Loganholme and Edens Landing State School P&C’s and a safe city advocate.Through my community work I have experienced enormous success, including securing funding for Safe City initiatives, reducing the community impact of high voltage powerlines as part of VETO, aiding small businesses in growth, expansion and development, promoting tourism in Logan through the Tour de Logan cycling event and raising a substantial amount of funds for the Cancer Council at events such as Relay for Life, Biggest Morning Teas and the Daffodil Ball.My philosophy is to take every opportunity that comes your way, you never know where it might take you.
