Originally employed as a writer, over the last two years my role at Growth UK has developed significantly, allowing me to both thrive and receive promotion. Today, as an accounts manager, it is my responsibility to manage a number of clients in the independent optical, veterinary and dentistry sectors. As well as writing bespoke content such as websites, press release and letters, I am also required to meet regularly with my clients in London, Belfast and Edinburgh, ensuring they are using their programmes to their full potential. As part of my role at Growth UK, I am required to attend various events in the optical, veterinary and dentistry sectors. These events are held all over the country and generally consist of speaking with potential clients, widening our network of contacts and liaising with other businesses in the industry. As a result of my hard work and determination, I typically see 2 in 3 clients join an additional programme once theirs has come to an end, allowing me to continue working with them at a higher level.
