I am passionate about environmental health and conducting risk assessments for chemicals that affect human health.As a public health professional, I identify, analyze, and evaluate human health impacts from environmental health threats and emerging chemicals of concern. I conduct community exposure investigations for mercury and lead in Colorado’s communities and help individuals and families to remove sources of heavy metals from their environment. I conduct effective literature searches and translate scientific information into factsheets for the public.My skill set includes training in exposure science, risk assessment for chemicals, and environmental public health. I also possess expertise in community environmental health sciences including educating the public on best practices and policies to protect human health from environmental insults.
