A qualified business and economics teacher, specialising in enterprise and entrepreneurship. Currently, Assistant Principal leading Applied Learning, Local Community and Global links, STEM, Student Transition, SMSC, CIAG and Enterprise at Wellacre Academy. Reporting directly to the Principal with responsibility for the design and implementation of quality control of vocational education within the Academy and development of Community Links.Qualified coach and deliverer of staff development including KS5 Academic Ethos, Whole school Teaching and Learning. Academy lead for 'Teach Like A Champion'.The leading member of a number of pioneering working bids for enterprising curriculum initiatives including the UK German Challenge fund and British Council multi lateral bids. Regularly invited to participate in round-table discussions and workshops on enterprise and entrepreneurship in both the higher and further education sectors with contributions to a number of white papers, currently including going beyond CPD. Hugely passionate about enabling students to create their own opportunities.
