Designing the women’s Evolution range: design stylish edgy, premium and performance product ensuring that the boundaries are pushed creatively to continue to set the company ahead of the competition.Key Responsibilities:- Creating a range of premium, trend led, multi sportswear clothing which is specifically designed for women, Which includes technical ski wear, outerwear, performance active clothing - Researching trends either through trend prediction websites, shop reports and trade shows (ISPO)- Responsible for the production of detailed techpacks for development teams to give to factory’s- Working closely with the fabric technologists to select and develop exciting new fabrics for AW2015, as well as working with specialist fabric mills (Goretex, polartec) and making sure fabrics come into price points- Travelling to relevant trade exhibitions to research trend and meet with fabric suppliers- Working with marketing to select hero products for photo shoots, and establish relevant seasonal stories- Producing a coherent merchandised collection- Developing new trims and branding specifically for the women’s range, and working closely with the graphic designer to create new and exciting prints- adding newness to the range and improving the existing product offers, whist ensuring all products perform well according to the intended end use.

Junior Designer, Designing all products for the outlet and corporate ranges as well as assisting the senior designer on the technical sailing and on the designs of lifestyle, multi product ranges.Key Responsibilities:- Creating and amending all design packs- Researching and presenting mood and colour boards for each range- Assisting with two design ranges a year- Designing sailing technical clothing, outerwear jackets through to lifestyle clothing, which has a more fashion forward approach. Women’s lifestyle including Jersey, Linen, cotton, to high performance outerwear garments.- Being solely responsible for the design of the outlet and corporate ranges which includes both men’s and women’s technical outerwear, through to casual and formal wear- Sourcing fabrics and trims- Working with branded fabrics- Presenting ranges to buyers- Working effectively to tight deadlines- Working directly with factories in China- Supervising fit sessions with garment technicians and product developers
