Responsible for raising funds to support the Wattis Institute at the California College of Arts. Experience included identifying prospects and soliciting major gifts to support special exhibitions and programs. Increased membership in highest patron category by 2x. Launched an e-commerce site that focused on children art supplies and projects. Worked closely with leading arts educator to develop a highly curated selection of supplies and kits to nurture and encourage creativity and exploration in the arts.

Responsible for securing leadership gifts for SFMOMA's comprehensive expansion campaign. Worked closely with SFMOMA's board to identify and solicit campaign gifts ranging from $25,000 to $5M. Prior to working on the campaign, worked in various roles at the Museum on interim basis including Director of Marketing and Director of Corporate Gifts.

• Responsible for special projects in consultation with the Museum Director and Deputy Director of Development including the creation and implementation of the annual Family Gala, the Museum’s signature fundraiser that raises over $200,000 and attracts top donors. Responsible for all aspects of the event including identifying and working closely with leadership, raising corporate and sponsor gifts, securing in-kind donations and event management.• Other projects include working with curatorial team on an outdoor art installation on the Jessie Square Plaza in conjunction with upcoming Spring exhibition and working with members of the Board of Trustees on the upcoming Dorothy Saxe Invitational Opening including planning the opening festivities and working with host committee to identify potential collectors who would be interested in purchasing the commissioned works.

• Served as head of Department responsible for all marketing, public and community-relations activities related to the Museum’s 2008 grand opening, on-going exhibitions, programs, special events, museum store and cafe. Managed four staff, multiple consultants and two budgets totaling $750,000. • Managed a broad spectrum of marketing disciplines including strategy, planning, creative execution, media planning and buying, public and community relations, social media, online and membership marketing. • Hired and managed advertising, public relations, creative, research, brand identity and web design agencies.• Oversaw visitor services area to ensure highest quality visitor experience. • Secured corporate funding for capital campaign, grand opening and ongoing exhibitions and programs.
