• Manage and direct HR Generalists in their duties, ensuring compliance with Salvation Army HR policies, labor codes, and relevant regulations such as FEHA, FMLA, Title VII, DFEH, and state/local ordinances.• Provide guidance to field management and supervisory personnel on sensitive issues including progressive discipline, employee performance evaluations/plans, and internal investigations related to harassment complaints.• Oversee HR compliance and auditing at DHQ and field locations, including the supervision of employee records, files maintenance, and E-verify I-9 processes.• Manage employee benefits, including Annual and new hire Open Enrollment, and act as a liaison with THQ on divisional employee benefit matters, including workers' compensation. Handle the monthly SF Commuter Benefit program enrollment.• Supervise the onboarding and training of new employees, including orientation at DHQ, DOT driving requirements, TSA driver training, and Preventing Harassment training in accordance with TSA and CA state requirements.• Oversee seasonal and temporary hiring (e.g., Christmas and Summer) and provide ongoing training and development support for field teams. Ensure training is documented in UltiPro and employees' personnel files.• Communicate with DHQ and Corps/Units for clarification and follow-up on all HR-related matters, ensuring the timely dissemination of 90-day and annual reviews to supervisors.• Prepare and submit the Annual and Quarterly HSCO Report.
