Working with food has always been what I wanted to do with my life, however, I started later professionally than I would have liked. After getting the education and trying everything that would expand the knowledge of my craft, I felt ready to take on new roles in management and leadership in a field that is exciting, difficult, and fulfilling at the same time. I love what I do and I'm always happy to learn more and share my knowledge with those that share the same passion and have the same drive that I do. The positions I have held, helped hone my skills in the hospitality industry: Fine dining, training, menu management, safety and sanitation, cost control, catering, and banquets. I love the controlled chaos of a busy kitchen. Even if it's not busy, there is always something to do. I am willing to, and have, gone above and beyond what it takes to get the job done. I aspire to exceed expectations and will take any criticism offered, if it will help me to be a better chef.
