I've lived in Buffalo, NY most of my life. However, I did spend my elementary years in Southeast Florida. What a place to be a kid! This was prior to the mass development that's occurred in that area in the last 25 years. It was rustic, remote, tropical. My days were filled with endless swimming, fishing and adventures through trails and ponds alongside alligators, armadillos, snakes of all kinds and tropical vegetation. I feel very strongly that although it was only three years of my life, it impacted me in ways that have greatly contributed to who I am today. I am unafraid of change and adventure. In fact, I crave it. Although I'm innately a careful, thoughtful person, I also enjoy a new challenge and expanding my horizons. All of this plays into where I find myself at this point in my life. I am a seasoned paralegal with close to 20 years of experience in many different facets of law. I've worked in Real Estate, Personal Injury (both defense and plaintiff work), Torts (Lead Paint), Insurance Coverage and currently, Real Estate Development. In addition, I was the Billing Administrator for a new firm in which I was responsible for all aspects of the billing process, including creating procedure from the ground up. I excel with anything analytical, from review of medical records pertaining to a specific claim, to determining the most efficient and simplistic process to complete a project or task and to many other areas in between. My ability to go with the flow has served me well thus far. I am a proud Mom of two very busy young girls. My family means the world to me. I strongly believe in balance between work and home life and it's something that I am always striving to achieve. Like most moms, I am the keeper of all calendars, school activities, teacher communications, sports details and everything in between! All of this has only further honed my organizational skills - because if you aren't organized in crazy mom life, you may not survive! I have learned a lot in my years as a professional and as mom. I look forward to continuing to do so by expanding my horizons via new experiences, people and places!
