Project based freelance work to complete a full overview and significance report of the Ancient Egyptian collections at Birmingham Museums Trust. Selecting objects and developing new storylines for the future museum project

- Using spread sheets and databases to catalogue and manage the Egyptian antiquities- Finding objects using BMAG’s catalogues- Working in the object storehouse- Research into the Ancient Egyptian collections- Object handling, moving objects to cases, de-installing exhibitions and galleries- Assisted with the condition checking of 150 objects that went on the touring 'Secret Egypt' exhibition, including installation and de-installation

• Front of house duties; welcoming visitors, giving information and answering any enquiries on the phone or in the museum• Giving tours of the museum and giving information on objects within the museum• Creating a learning programme for school children, developing and implementing an educational visit. Bringing in new audiences and engaging with the local community• Serving customers in the shop, setting up a float and cashing up end of day sales• Organised their first Summer Fair; managed a team of 20- raised £600 on the day and Christmas Fair which made £60 profit and continued a year of programmed events• Organised and delivered the first Teens in Museum day
