Reception CoordinatorThe Women'S Information Network (Win) Jan 2009 - Feb 2009I volunteered to serve as one of the Reception Coordinators on a leadership team of 10 professionals to coordinate the Young Women of Achievement (YWA) Event, one of two annual premiere events hosted by The Women's Information Network (WIN). The YWA event recognizes women 35 and younger, in the DC Metro Area who are highly talented, have made leadership contributions in the community or workplace. My counterpart and I worked cooperatively with 10 vendors to coordinate the networking reception and award ceremony. The event recognized 25 women and attracted approximately 430 attendees, more than double the registration of years' prior. Additionally, the leadership team raised $10,000 in contributions to support WIN and its' annual programming needs.
