The Marketing Manager is responsible for:-Working with Senior Management to build and implement marketing communications plans in line with business strategy.-Conveying the company message through the direction of the organisation's marketing communications strategies including media coverage, contributed articles and press releases. -Providing interpretation and counsel to Senior Management regarding marketing communications strategies including the governance of key messages, tactics, budgets, timing and measurement. -Directing and contributing to the continual development of strong media and analyst relations within the media marketplace. -Recommending and managing the internal dissemination of company news, announcements, marketing event calendars and other communications.

The Director Marketing is responsible for the national functions of Strategy, Practice Management, Marketing Communications, Channel Management, Vendor Management, Customer Experience and Capability Development. In addition, the role is responsible for identifying marketing requirements at a strategic level and creating strategies for achieving Customer Experience objectives and standardising Sales Methodology and Processes, Systems and Tools, Training and Certifications.

The primary focus of this role was to work in partnership with Optus Business Marketing to grow Alphawest ICT-based revenues through the Optus Business sales channel and provide a consistent approach to up-skill both direct and indirect sales channels with Alphawest capability and market knowledge.The role was responsible for the planning, management, implementation and evaluation of channel marketing programs to achieve Alphawest’s financial targets and contribute to continuing and improved market performance and profitability. The Channel Marketing Manager works closely with Alphawest Practice Managers in preparing their offerings for sale via the channel including the development of sales tools, sales incentive programs and customer-centric value propositions.
